What to Expect at your First Visit

First Visit:

You will meet with Dr. Williams and discuss what signs make you (and your physician) think you may suffer from snoring and/or Sleep Apnea.

Dr. Williams will then conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth and teeth including:

1 – Your medical history up to now, including any signs of TMJ (joint pain)
2 – Oral exam of your teeth, looking for fractures, open contact spots and overall teeth and gum health
3 – Physical review of your jaws, related joint and muscles
4 – Measurements of your jaws, looking for excursions (protrusive bite)
5 – Photos of your mouth

Following the evaluation, Dr. Williams will discuss his findings with you, as well as his recommended course of treatment and next steps.
